In today's episode I have the pleasure of chatting with the lovely Christie Smith - a midwife and founder of Nurture and Mindful Motherhood. We've known each other for a few years but also had our babies only a few days apart - so have been on this motherhood journey together. In this episode we discuss the importance of building your village, how to integrate self care as a new mum and how you can surround yourself with a community of like minded mamas in postpartum. We also chat about her passion for creating her groups which are quite different to your typical mothers groups!
My conversation with Christie has shed light on the immense value of nurturing mothers as they navigate the beautiful yet challenging journey of motherhood. By providing holistic support, fostering connections, and prioritizing self-care, these groups create a safe and empowering space for mums to thrive alongside their babies.
