Notes:
I Remember is a 1970 experimental memoir and book-length poem by American artist and writer Joe Brainard. Check it out here. Or you can hear Brainard read from the book in Matt Wolf's short documentary, I Remember: A Film About Joe Brainard, an archival montage which combines audio recordings of Brainard reading from the poem.
Read Louise Gluck's "Persephone the Wanderer" from Averno.
Read Brigit Pegeen Kelly's poems "Song" and "Dead Doe" (originally in Kenyon Review)
Susan Mitchell's poem "Rainbow" first appeared in the August/July 1992 issue of APR and then in her book Rapture. You can read it on JStor (paywall, though maybe free through a library) here.
Read "Dead Deer" by David Groff
