Description

Hope is universal to human existence. We all hope for things, whether it be a positive outcome to a situation or business deal, a shift in our finances, a promotion in a career, a spouse, a family member, or any other number of things.

What sets biblical hope apart from optimism, however, is that biblical hope is based on a person, not circumstances. When we base our hope on a situation, it's easy to be disappointed, discouraged, and despairing. When our hope is in Jesus, we can remain hopeful for the future, facing it without fear, because whether good or bad, Jesus is always good, always faithful, and will always fulfill His promises.
