Even though we cannot add anything to Jesus' sacrifice to the Father, He still wants us to share in His offering. God wants us to participate in His saving actions, no so that the product would be any better, but so that our relationship with Him would be deeper. Next time you come to Mass, I invite you to be more than a spectator.
