The George Real Estate WHKP Hometown Hero this week is Tink Johnson. Tink passed away this week and is missed by so many people in our Hometown. Tink was a special person who touched most every life he came across in a special way. Many said you felt better after seeing Tink. He was so involved and passionate about sports with a special affection for Men's Softball and played, coached, prepared the field for over 20 years. Pastor Greg Mathis at Mud Creek Church said if a poll were conducted, Tink would be one of the top five most popular people at the church. His close friend Tim Griffin with the Henderson County Sheriff's Department speaks here about how Tink was a hero of his for a lifetime.
