Description

The Stoics treated journaling as a tool, not a diary. Marcus Aurelius' Meditations was basically his private notebook. In this episode I show how to build a philosophical journaling habit that actually sticks, and why it overlaps so neatly with modern cognitive behavioural therapy.

Along the way we go through the four cardinal virtues and how to use them as a check on your day, and I share how I combine journaling with a short meditation so the two feed each other. The aim is simple: more self-awareness, a bit of self-coaching, and a way to catch the patterns that keep tripping you up.
