YO! What’s up, youse guys! Cousin Cody and Philly Mark are back in the wooder, and the vibes are high. We made it, man! Football season is officially underway, and the Birds have started their campaign. Welcome back to the Birdgang Boys! Fuggin’ listen!
First off, we have to react to The Birds’ first game of the season against the Commanders. We pulled out the W with a final score of 24-22, but let’s be real: it was not pretty. It was a borderline ugly game for the offensive line, and we’re breaking down exactly why they looked so shaky. But, even with the pressure in his face, Jalen Hurts played great. He was poised, he made plays with his feet, and he showed why he’s the guy. A win is a win in this league, and we’ll take it.
We spent the second half of the show diving into the nitty-gritty. We highlight all the great plays and players that showed up when it mattered most. We’re giving out flowers to Zack Baun, Jalen Carter, Moro Ojomo, and Dontayvion Wicks for their clutch performances. But, because this is Philly, we’re keeping it real. We also have to call out the players that played like d-heads on Sunday. We’re naming names and breaking down the boneheaded mistakes that almost cost us the game.
It’s an episode full of hot takes, film breakdown, and the emotional rollercoaster of Week 1. Grab your Wawa coffee, unclench your jaw from watching the O-line, and fuggin’ listen!
