Sobriety is sanity. Emotional sobriety is sane living. Living as though we are only an image of thought - thought to be real and true - is insane. Trying chronically to feel better about any mistaken idea is exactly what addiction tries but fails to do. Addiction is a mental problem that leads to reactive, impulsive and compulsive behaviors. These are not accidents or curses but simultaneous consequences of how we choose to think.
Thinking about thinking confirms what is thought not reality or truth. Turning fantasy into reality has never happened for the very good and simple reason it can't and won’t. What we easily prove with this effort is that feeling empty, wanting and like an imposture are natural consequences. This line of thinking develops many imagined inner selves each with a raised voice demanding to be heard with nothing to say. Listen to the voices - in your head. Are they ever happy, supportive or generous when you feel like they’re happening to you? Much of what we say to our “self” we would never tolerate from anybody else.
There are few if any greater impacts on our experience than how we think about what is happening. What is actually happening cannot compete with the intensity of inner conflict created while focusing obsessively on what is not happening as though it is all that is happening.
Talking to ourselves is talking to our thoughts. Thinking to ourselves is thinking about our thoughts. Thinking we are created by our thoughts is to imagine thinking creates the reality of existence. Consciousness may be the source of existence but to think one brain is its source it a bit pompous. Thoughts are ideas, imagined, concepts. The twisted idea thought creates reality is terrifying “self-centered” fear since it means actual reality and truth do not exist and we are alone in the universe except for what we think. We would not feel this fear if this line of thinking was true so feeling fear is an indication we have a greater knowing awareness than we think - so we know better.
To think we can generate thought and oppose creates an impression that is naturally depressing the longer we continue. Imagine thinking what we think is all we are then competing with every thought to prove that what is wrong is right. Taking a self that is only a thought thinking of itself se

Reality is unlimited and never changes. The idea that how and what we think creates reality suggests otherwise. Acting on backward thoughts leads to behaviors that are out of order reflecting a reversal of our natural fortune that are accurately called disorders. Anxious, nervous and systemic disorders reflect this impossible attempt to reverse Nature’s Law and Order and our Universe's Essence. Dis-ease is the lack of ease created and maintained by such twisted mental acrobatics. Stress and Anxiety inhibit healing and compound and degrade health.
Mentality is a bodily function. Mental disease is a physcial ailment. For as long as it is misdiagnosed - any cure or treatment will perpetuate its contagion.
Principles affirm Our Indivisible nature. Sharing Principles confirms our natural indivisibility. Inspiration is natural while desperation, depression, degradation and acting oblivious to what is obvious is an unnatural choice to oppose reality which is impossible to accomplish though we are free to try.
Ignoring what is happening, acting as though it shouldn't be or isn't happening, produces the unintelligible gibberish of ignorance - not reality.
