In this week's sermon, Pastor Aaron shares what life has like been like for him and his family over the past month and also as his family has been dealing with a lot of other issues. He shares this personal story to demonstrate that it is through difficult situations in life that we are forced to our knees in humility and vulnerability crying out to God, "Lord, I need you. I don't have it all together."
In this sermon, Pastor Aaron contrasts a state of humility with the arrogance, pride, selfishness and downright wickedness of the kings of Judah that we read about in chapter 17. It is because of their wickedness that God's people are finally forced into exile, the temple is destroyed, the walls of Jerusalem are knocked down, and it's just not good.
But, God is not finished with His people because He is faithful to His promise to give life.
God is not finished with you either. He will give you life now and forever.
