Every Christian father wrestles with the weight of responsibility—how do we effectively pass our faith to our children in a way that truly sticks? Drawing from Psalm 78:4, this episode dives deep into the biblical mandate to "tell the next generation" about God's faithfulness. We explore Barrett Johnson's powerful framework for discipling children like Jesus discipled His followers—through abiding, modeling, teaching, applying, and connecting. The conversation unpacks practical strategies that any father can implement, regardless of biblical knowledge or background. You'll discover a simple three-question approach (What happened? So what? Now what?) that transforms family Bible study from awkward monologues into engaging dialogues that build genuine faith understanding.
