My guest is Baker Mukasa Actor, Singer, Teacher and Lover of Life! I have had the privilege of getting to know Baker Mukasa in the context of an artist workshop. Baker is the youngest participant in our group and met our teacher Kath through the Youth Music Theatre or YMT organization in England. In our interview Baker describes a play where his character has a role of being the custodian of another character named Joy, but I think this is also applicable to Baker himself. I’ve witnessed his amazing singing in a full throated late night jam session and I think that custodian of Joy is a label he could easily carry.
