Have you ever wondered why there can be two two different views of the world that is happening both at the same time?
Psalm 2 tells us the answer by pointing us to the ultimate two views... an earthly view of the nations raging against God in utter rebellion and the heavenly view of God seated on His throne in heaven reigning and ruling over all as King.
The Bible tells us from cover to cover who wins this ultimate battle between heaven and earth. God does because God wins!
However, Psalm 2 not only pictures for us these two different views from heaven and earth, but also it lays out a very important warning to remind the nations that because God reigns and is in control over all, resistance is futile. All nations and all people must be rightly aligned with the God's Son now by placing our trust in Him.
Why? Because Jesus, God the Eternal Son, not only reigns in heaven, but He is coming again!
