In this message, we're reminded of the roaring lion that prowls around us - our adversary, the devil. But take heart! We learn that while he roars, he's restrained. The key scripture, 1 Peter 5:6-11, teaches us to humble ourselves under God's mighty hand and cast all our anxieties on Him. This passage beautifully illustrates how the same hand that presses us also protects us. We're given a practical formula to stand firm in our faith: STAND - Submit under God's hand, Trust His care, Alert our minds, Never stand alone, and Depend on God's grace. This message challenges us to resist pride, embrace humility, and find strength in community. It's a call to recognize that in our struggles, we're not isolated; our brothers and sisters worldwide face similar trials. Ultimately, we're encouraged to depend on the God of all grace, who promises to restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish us after we've suffered for a little while. This teaching reminds us that our hope isn't in our circumstances, but in the unshakeable promise of God's care and coming glory.
