Today we talk about following Jesus, and what that means for a group of people who did that two thousand years ago, and what that means for people like yourself and myself now. Following Jesus isn’t like how we follow people now on social media - that basically means just getting occasional updates from people. But following Jesus has connotations and expectation of surrender and victory, of solemnity and of celebration, of all kinds of great joy and hope and freedom as well. What does following Jesus look like for you? Today we’re going to explore that in Luke 14:25-34.
