In today's sermon, we are going to see that people are looking for a sign or proof of who Jesus is when the evidence has been right in front of them. To give you some context to our story, Jesus had just cast a demon out of a man who was mute. And some of the people who were witnesses didn’t want to accept Jesus as the Messiah, the chosen one. They are looking for any way to reject Jesus. So they tested him by asking for a sign from heaven. Let this truth sink in today. Your acceptance or rejection of Jesus does not change who He is. It changes what He can do in your life. In our story Jesus is going to explain a sign to them that should be compelling for their belief.
