What comes to your mind when someone mentions God? Does it make you nervous? Does it make you smile? Does it make you angry? There are a great many ideas out there about God’s existence and how we ought to relate to Him.
We’re continuing through the Gospel of Luke, in which the author, a physician named Luke and a companion of the Apostle Paul, emphasizes Jesus’ ministry to those who were considered to be outsiders or who tended to be left out.
Today’s text is taken from Luke 18:15-29 and includes two different stories that combine to teach us one truth, about how we should approach God.
