Today, we want to present to you one of Jesus’ most radical teachings: family. Christianity is constitutively communal. We’re called to follow Jesus individually and in community because how we relate to one another is as important as how we relate to God as Jesus taught us in Matthew 22:36-40. Community is God’s ‘school of love’ where we become spiritually formed, learning to become more like Jesus as we worship, fellowship, serve each other, and serve our world; all things we cannot do alone.
