Luke records Jesus' next move. Who does Jesus think He is? He is the rightful King - and now He's calling to Himself a new kind of people - new creations - people whos hearts are made new - who prevail over evil with love not violence or coercion.
The twelve. These men, chosen by Jesus, would be near Him always, watching, listening, conforming to Jesus and His love. These same twelve go on to change the world - in Jesus' name.
