As I mentioned on the last 2 episodes, I'm breaking down the AMF formula, which is
one that I think independent artists should use to become self-made musicians!
The A stands for Affiliate Marketing, and I said on the previous episode that
you can build passive income that will cover your bills and increase your
budget to invest in your business career.
For that, I want you to think about monthly recurring tools that you're using
right now to grow your music business, like your website, your email marketing
too, etc.
These are tools that you need and pay for every single month that you can
become an affiliate for to refer to other people like you!
You'd then get a percentage of the monthly fees from the people you referred and
that's how you start earning passive income.
Now when you get to the point where you have good passive income coming in, and
that will take time (anything worth having can be simple but not easy), you'll
be able to cover all your bills and then some, plus you'll be making music
stress free!
But that music will need marketing, and that's also considering that you'll be
able to invest into improving the quality of your music too.
And over the years, coming from getting back to my music path after a financial
disaster and investing in myself, coaching, mentorship, geeking out on marketing,
I strategically discovered that there are 5 keys that will lead you to music
freedom with marketing:
Key 1 - Identifying and finding your audience
Key 2 - Produce online content that will attract your audience
Key 3 - Grow an highly engaged following
Key 4 - Build a music buyers list
Key 5 - Effectively retarget them with ads
Once you gather all those keys and implement them effectively, it's gonna allow
