Andrew von Lossow has dabbled in every part of golf possible - playing, caddying, logo design, lead tape, hickory golf. He does all of them very well. For me, Von Lossow came onto the scene at Ridgewood Country Club when he beat Michael Thorbjornsen in the U.S. Amateur. He grew up the son of a tour pro, Jim Von Lossow, who then became a club maker. Along with his dad, Andrew took to the hickory game in 2013 and ended up winning the 2021 US Hickory Open. Most recently, Von Lossow won the Washington Golf Association Men’s Player of the Year AND the men’s Mid-Am player of the year. He was also named the Pacific Northwest Mid-Am player of the year.
We cover a wide variety of topics, from his week at Ridgewood to what he learned as a caddy at Discovery Golf properties to hickory golf to his love for graphic design and golf logos.
