Clay Adkins worked in law enforcement for 28 years. In 2013, he was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma. He had a partial nephrectomy of his right kidney and a total nephrectomy of his left kidney. At one point, Clay was told he didn’t have long to live. He soon changed his diet, and surrounded himself with encouraging friends. Above all, he grew deeper in his knowledge of the power, grace and faithfulness of the living God. In so doing, he also discovered that God truly is the great physician.
