Aging comes to everyone great and small, that is, unless their lives end sooner rather than later. Most people probably don't like aging because it usually entails a decline of physical, mental, and other key life attributes. But whatever it entails, casual observation leads to the easy conclusion that some people age better than others, meaning not only that they don't seem to wear out as quickly or as harshly but with ailments or no, some age better because they handle it better. They see the upsides and concentrate on them. They expand their opportunities. They give back or pay it forward. They take this extra time and use it to bless the lives of others. Hence it's possible to age gracefully--usually meaning sustaining physical capabilities--and also possible to age graciously--meaning expressing the fruit of the Spirit in a variety of wonderful ways. While the former, aging gracefully, may not be entirely under our control, the latter, aging graciously, most certainly is. For more Christian commentary check my website at rexmrogers.com.
