It's no secret the USA is divided, dividing, fragmenting, tribalizing, and think of some other word about confusion and disagreement. There are reasons for this. Sadly, this confusion and division is evident in the Church, not just culture. Roots of this are biblical illiteracy, lack of understanding of Christian theology and Christian worldview, and this is the Church, let alone culture. We live in a post-Christian culture, so the USA's founding Judeo-Christian values are being jettisoned day by day, no God, no truth, no accountability, no meaning, no hope. Once you toss out the God referenced in the Declaration of Independence, then anything goes, and that is what we are seeing, "everyone doing what is right in their own eyes."
