American teens and young adults are experiencing a full-on mental health crisis rooted in apocalyptic fears they are mainlining everyday from media and especially social media. Consequently, youth evidence disillusionment, dread, despair, and a nihilistic purposelessness. Youth are not going to church and do not possess a biblically Christian worldview. So. one reason for this catastrophic generational development is that youth have no fall back, nothing solid to believe in, no safety net. Subjective remedies offered by counselors do not help because these basically ask youth to change themselves, something they cannot do. What youth need is faith in Christ, the solid rock, and an understanding of Christian teaching that reinforces their ability to understand the world's and their own troubles as God understands them.
