Transgenderism, or trans ideology, has moved across American culture like an avalanche, brooking no resistance and demanding acceptance by all lest one be considered a hater. This incredible and overwhelming ideological steamroller has, for the most part, been accomplished since 2015 when the Supreme Court of the United States recognized the legality of same-sex marriage. After that, it has literally been an anything goes environment for those promoting sexual liberation. Now transgenderism, like other sexual orientations, is considered by many and in some points of law as a civil right. If you disagree or otherwise resist trans activists' demands, you are intolerant and a bigot but also perhaps guilty of hate speech and open to prosecution. The fact that transgenderism is biologically impossible, is unscientific, unbiblical, ahistorical, and irrational seems until recently to have been lost in the storm. Now, finally, there appears to be some pushback, several European countries discovering transgenderism does not work, that gender-affirming care is dangerous, and that there are profound physical, emotional, spiritual, and financial costs that in essence trades one set of problems for far more when a person transitions.
