God created human beings for community, fellowship with him and with other people. Consequently, isolation, or being or feeling isolated, truly alone even if in a crowd is not normal and not healthy. Same is true in the Christian Church, the Body of Christ. Believers need one another and that's one reason God commissioned the church in the New Testament. But there are isolated believers all over the world, particularly in countries throughout the Middle East and North Africa where religions, rulers, and regimes unfriendly to the Christian faith exercise dominance, often suppression or oppression, and even persecution. There are Christian believers in these countries who are truly alone, surrounded by people but with no others sharing their Christian faith. SAT-7 works to broadcast Christian teaching, encouragement, and hope to these isolated believers throughout the Middle East and North Africa.
