Artificial Intelligence is suddenly everywhere in media. The coverage is a product of new excitement, a new story, and the release of the now, fastest-ever growing app, ChatGPT, Nov 2022. Some coverage delves into the presumed arrival of futuristic science wherein humanoids will soon take over the world. Other coverage is more practical, proclaiming AI is a cultural, corporate tipping point or game changer, much like the predictions about the Internet in the 1990s. Thing is, we don't know what we don't know. Is AI intriguing and potentially greatly beneficial? Yes. Should we also consider a few caveats before deciding Nirvana has arrived, Yes again.
