Public education from kindergarten to graduate school is in serious trouble, primarily because it has lost its way, given to political ideology more than the dispensing of knowable truth and no longer knowing how or why to educate. Our educational system is teaching our next generations ambiguity and anxious anger.
Some teachers, professors, staff members within public institutions of learning are still standing for truth, First Amendment freedoms, and morality. These are our new First Responders, people courageously standing in the gap on behalf of our children, our youth, and our future. I salute them, for their task is difficult and fraught with danger to them personally and professionally.
But truth does still exist whether America's educational bureaucracy admits it or not. And truth will never go away. So there is yet hope.
