In this episode of "The Mixing Glass", Mark McDonough talks about building local gaming communities, indie games, and the importance of inclusivity and creating safe spaces while playing tabletop games.

Mark McDonough has been playing tabletop role-playing games since the late 1980’s. While he has played Dungeons & Dragons throughout the years, he also has a fondess for playing and a variety of other games including indie games!
In 2020, Mark started organizing and running bi-weekly games of Dungeons & Dragons in cooperation with Babe, Games and Geeks and created the group Duval Dice and Dungeons.
Duval Dice and Dungeons is a group that focuses on providing a safe spaces and experiences for women and LGBTQ+ where they play Dungeons & Dragons and other tabletop role-playing games.
Their group officially started in October 2020 (during the height of the pandemic) at Lemonstreet Brewing Co. Over the last 5 years, they have built a community of players and Dungeon Masters.
