On this week's Thursday Thoughts, Polly and I are talking about a concept promoted by Dan Harris: Action Absorbs Anxiety.

This is the idea that taking even the smallest of actions can help to reduce feelings of powerlessness and helplessness, by channelling that restless, stuck energy and shifting it onto something more productive.

Polly and I also talk about another similar idea, which is that clarity comes from taking action - something that both of us have found to be true.
