In today’s passage Jesus gives his disciples a new command. To love one another like Jesus has loved them. This might be the hardest command Jesus gives. Why? Jesus’s love for the disciples is selfless in nature, sacrificial in application, unbreakable in its security, unending in scope, unrestrained in affection, and unsearchable in its vastness.  How can we love each other like this? What would it look like if we began to resemble this in our love for the body of Christ? I believe that  when we begin to comprehend gods love for us, we will be filled to bursting with the "the fullness of God”. Only then, when we are overflowing with gods love, can we begin to love each other the way Jesus loves us. So let us glut on God’s love for us.
