Over the last 50 years our culture has slowly forgotten how to live in community. Over the last 5 years the atomization of people has only accelerated with more than 50% of adults saying they feel lonely, alone, or disconnected. Most of us crave deep connection to others but do not know how to cultivate it. That is what this series is all about, teaching our church to be a thriving community that has spirit filled fellowship and that helps everyone in the body of Christ to flourish. There is a real temptation in our day to come to church services and never get engaged in biblical community, but this concept is foreign to the Bible. Jesus called us to be a part of a Body, a faith family, and it is in community that our faith will flourish.
