What a great responsibility is to treasure and teach sound doctrine to the upcoming generations. Paul instills in Timothy to seek faithful people who will carryon the responsibility upon them and in teaching others. It's amazing to fathom that Christianity has held the test of time for the past two thousand years, and it is still ongoing with its preserved historicity and teachings.
