* At the Heat, they couldn't repeat a double dose of championship glory going down 2-1 in the series to Adelaide despite getting a home win back on Friday to lead 1-0
* In a supremely nail biting affair and afternoon with the equation that was dealt of them, the Perth Wildcats left it until the final seconds of the game and the entire NBL regular season to secure an NBL play-in appearance
