When we tell our stories with filters and perfectionism, we don't allow ourselves to be vulnerable and we keep ourselves from truly connecting with others.
When you try and "appear" a certain way, you cannot truly connect with people's hearts.
When you hear someone else's story it gives you permission to think differently about your own story.
Performance will never give you what connection can. Connection satisfies your soul.
Transformation Application: Have two courageous conversations this week. In a discussion, ask a question, and then simply listen (not just hear). Listen to the heart, not just the facts.
