Many think the primary goal of prayer is about getting stuff. But what if the primary reason for prayer was to develop my relationship with God? Then the goal of prayer would not be answers but connecting, growing, and spending time with God. Our approach would look completely different, wouldn’t it?
The most common form of praying in Scripture is simple prayer. Simple prayer is carrying a short phrase in your heart and mind throughout the day in order to commune with God around that simple truth. Simple prayer is relational prayer.
