The only people who aren’t bothered by unanswered prayer are people who never pray. Because if you’ve ever prayed in earnest for something, something you felt was not selfish, that seemed to fit with the plan of God, something that was right and good and certainly appeared to be the best solution for the situation, only to face the silence of heaven, then you already know about the agony of unanswered prayer. There are times when it seems that either God doesn’t hear or else He hides because we don’t get any answers for our deepest needs. What does the Bible say about unanswered prayer?
