SERIES: OUT OF WATER
In 1936, Albert Einstein wrote an essay in which he mentioned that we don’t know who it was that discovered water but we do know it wasn’t a fish. It’s a very simple but profound observation. Simply stated, that which we live among is invisible to us. This is especially true when it comes to self-defeating thinking and assumptions. We rarely think about our thinking but maybe we should. Could it be that the real reason we fail at new year’s resolutions is that we fail to address the bad thinking that led to the behavior in the first place? Join us in the coming weeks as we defeat the thinking that is defeating us.
PART 2 - Defeating Worry
This series started off with a bang by tackling one of the biggest enemies of a full life – fear. In our next installment, we take on fear’s close cousin – worry. Worry has been called faith in the negative, trust in the unpleasant, assurance of disaster, and belief in defeat. It percolates beneath the surface of our life robbing us of energy and productivity, often wrecking our health and peace of mind. But it doesn’t have to be that way. We can defeat worry before it defeats us. This message will show you how.
