SERIES: OUT OF WATER
In 1936, Albert Einstein wrote an essay in which he mentioned that we don’t know who it was that discovered water but we do know it wasn’t a fish. It’s a very simple but profound observation. Simply stated, that which we live among is invisible to us. This is especially true when it comes to self-defeating thinking and assumptions. We rarely think about our thinking but maybe we should. Could it be that the real reason we fail at new year’s resolutions is that we fail to address the bad thinking that led to the behavior in the first place? Join us in the coming weeks as we defeat the thinking that is defeating us.
PART 3 - Getting Unstuck
Have you ever felt stuck? At a dead-end? All out of options? You’re most certainly not alone. This weekend’s message is all about that feeling. More importantly, it’s about the self-defeating things we tell ourselves at times like these and what we must do to break through.
