SERIES: OUT OF WATER
In 1936, Albert Einstein wrote an essay in which he mentioned that we don’t know who it was that discovered water but we do know it wasn’t a fish. It’s a very simple but profound observation. Simply stated, that which we live among is invisible to us. This is especially true when it comes to self-defeating thinking and assumptions. We rarely think about our thinking but maybe we should. Could it be that the real reason we fail at new year’s resolutions is that we fail to address the bad thinking that led to the behavior in the first place? Listen to defeat the thinking that is defeating us.

PART 7 - Overcoming Limits
Experiences of rejection are profoundly wounding because you and I were designed by God with a deep need to be accepted. When we don't get that acceptance in the relationships that matter most, then it becomes a swollen need – overt sensitivity to even the slightest hint of rejection coupled with an insatiable drive for more acceptance. This is why one of the most devastating things you can do to a person is to reject them. This weekend, we’re going to talk about that pain, how to respond to it, and especially, how to let God heal the pain of rejection.
