This weekend, our series Stranger Things takes off in a whole new direction. We’ve been learning about the mysteries of the supernatural world and we led off with the fact there is a very real and dark force that exists in the universe in direct opposition to God and His purposes. Now our focus will shift onto the forces for good that also exist in our world and impact our daily existence. So in this next message, we’re talking about those times when God intervenes in our material world by miracles with a special emphasis on the greatest miracle of them all. Do you know what that is?
SERIES: STRANGER THINGS
In Scripture, a mystery is a truth that can’t be discovered by normal means. It’s a truth that God must tell us if we are to know it at all. Simply put, there is a limit to human wisdom. Now don’t get me wrong, our minds are capable of discovering the amazing complexities of the universe that have led to breakthroughs in physics, medicine, astronomy, and the earth sciences. But we will never fully explain human life in those terms. There is more to know and only God can tell us. In this series, we’ll discover what God has revealed to us about the supernatural world and its impact on our daily life.
