Dr. Jitendra Pant is the Global Director of Research and Innovation at Caron Products, US and UK.
He is a globally renowned cell culture & bioprocess development expert with 14 years of experience in biotechnology and bioeuipments that has resulted in 2 FDA approved monoclonal antibodies for the treatment of breast cancer and autoimmune disorders (at Biocon), 23 publications, one book chapter, 7 patent applications (USPTO) with more than 800 citations (h index=15) in 40 countries. He has reviewed 60 articles for 20 journals and serves as the board member of 5 journals.
Dr. Pant has a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Georgia (UGA), a postdoc from the University of Michigan (UoM), Masters from BITS-Pilani, Hyd, and an Executive Education from MIT.
Dr. Pant has been awarded PI and Co-I grants from NIH and CDC. He has won over 30 national and international awards including UGA Alumni of the year, UGA40u40, BITS30u30, BMES award, and has been acknowledged by ex-Director of CDC Dr. Redfield.
Dr. Pant is a frequently invited keynote speaker at national and international events across the globe and is in a mission to empower scientists and youths through his capacity-building seminars. He is a two times TEDx speaker.
He is also the Founder and CEO of Green Scientist, a Raleigh-based consulting company for Life Science Businesses, Private Equity, Green Card/Outstanding visa petitions, and Career Coaching for Scientists.
