Pain is a signal in your nervous system that something may be wrong. It is an unpleasant feeling, such as a prick, tingle, sting, burn, or ache. Pain may be sharp or dull. It may come and go, or it may be constant.
Scripture:
2 Corinthians 12:9 "But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
Roman 5:3-5 " Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, (produces) character; and character,(produces) hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us."
Pain is an integral part of the human experience. From our beginning, man is brought to life through the travailing (in pain) of the mother. As part of the process of growth and maturation, our bodies suffer pain. We suffer as we age, and the body deteriorates. Pain will be in our lives as long as we are alive. With that being said, it is not if or why we have pain, but the spirit that prevails in us as we endure life's pains
