Recently there was a commercial on TV where someone had built the ultimate functional house. Everything in the house worked FOR the owners and made their lives much easier on a day to day basis. Sounds practical and smart and great, right? But what happens when the season or phase of life they are in, changes? Their needs will change. Their stresses will evolve.
That may be what we need in our living. But our faith can't work like that. Because at some point what we've built to be functional in a particular season, will no longer work for us. And if it's something we created - more times than not, it will fail us.
When it comes to our faith, we need something that is timeless, never ending and never failing. Something that won't fall apart or that we can walk away from when things change or get hard. Listen in as Pastor Scott challenges us to a fixed faith!
