In this episode, you will meet Jeff Depatie.
Jeff shares his story of growing up in Northern Ontario Canada as a high energy, explorative young teen who enjoyed exploring the wilderness and pushing boundaries of all kinds.
After searching for his path and trying University for a couple of years, Jeff joined the Canadian military. He elevated to Canada's special operations community, serving as a sniper in the JTF2, Canada's equivalent to US special operations Delta Force or SEAL Team 6, the pointiest end of the Canadian military special operations spear. He deployed 12 times in his 13 year military career before retiring as a Master Corporal.
Post-military, Jeff founded The Special Forces Experience, a grueling 8-day Post Traumatic Growth experience where men test their mental and physical limits in a chaotic, raw, wilderness environment. He is also the producer of an upcoming documentary film called "Post-Traumatic Growth", a documentary exploring the emergence and possibility of Post-Traumatic Growth.
In this episode, Jeff shares his thoughts on pushing boundaries, finding purpose, and the idea of using challenge, stress and trauma as a mechanism for growth.
