The focus of this parashah is on Shmittah, the Jubilee year, and the relevance of these years and the concepts embedded in them to our social behaviors and to us personally.
Also discussed is G-d's warning to those who will continue to ignore His Laws/Instructions/Commands instead choosing to follow other gods and errant interpretations/teachings.
