Wendy Lockinge acts on the information sent her by her mother Elizabeth. She sets up a visit to the Zoo with John Keane and Susie Yup to investigate possible involvement by student activist.
His unofficial Zoo visits with his students had already given John Keane unwelcome publicity. On arrival they find the new director is a former student at Urmston who gives them access to the Zoo records which suggest unauthorised movements of animals.
They also recognise the mysterious visitor which had been mentioned in Elizabeth's messages to her mother, and realise there is a deeper explanation to his actions.
