I came across Dr Glycol recently, waiting his in the checkout queue at a nearby Convenience store.
His basket contained only two items. A pre-cooked chicken and a jar of curry sauce.
"For my evening meal", he explained.
"Do you already have the other ingredients?"
He looked about him carefully.
"All that I need".
Dr Glycol is famed for his cooking recipes, from which he is compiling his cookbook, which he hopes one day to publish. Recognising that my own literary efforts are of a different kind, he told me more about his unusual approach to cooking...
