Listen

Description

Ryan holiday and others have made their living taking what's old and making it new.

A lot of time, what is old is new again. Take bell bottom jeans or bomber jackets. I love listening to how things were done 10 years ago because you’ll often find things that no ones doing now.

That’s why I wanted to bring on WSJ bestselling author Jon Spoelstra. Who’s got a long history of being a successful author not just 20 years ago but now as well.

Jon worked as a National Basketball Association executive for:

->Buffalo Braves
->Portland Trail Blazers
->Denver Nuggets
->New Jersey Nets

While at the Nets he became famous for a stunt he pulled where he sent physical rubber chickens to fans to get them to renew their season tickets.

Mark Cuban wrote the forward to this book which we get into how that came about.

He also happens to be the father of Erik Spoelstra, head coach of the Miami heat

Let’s jump into it with Jon.
