Because this sermon fell on New Year's Day 2023, Curtis skipped forward in James to chapter 4 verses 13-17. We remember to temper our prayers with humility and ask for God's will to be applied in greater measure than our own limited, human viewpoint. Only in this way will our plans be blessed by divine wisdom.
